Tendercare Pediatrics Update:

Hope everyone is getting though this vicious Influenza, Covid, RSV season. I would like to caution everyone about this particular Flu this year which has been the worst I have seen in the past 10 years. I am seeing a lot of Neurologic side affects accompanying this Flu. If your household should get Flu, stay home, rest, fluids, Oscillococcinum over the counter(which btw works fabulous), elderberry, zinc, vitamin C, Host Defense, ect. Use something!! The Flu shot was a good match this year so you may want to consider this before the holiday gatherings!

On another note, I have been open on Fridays since the beginning of November for sick children only. Please utilize this service for my patients so they can get accurate care. I am truly amazed at what I have been witnessing in the medical field! It is not pretty. So please be your own advocate. If something does not feel right and you get no answers go get a second, third, and forth opinion! Enough said.

Now vacation time. I will be away Wednesday December 28 through January 3. I will be back in the office on January 4. As usual, Bercky will hold down the fort! She will be in the office Monday through Thursday 9am-1pm to help with scheduling and questions. Please do not utilize my cell phone for I will be out of the country and will be unable to return your calls.

Stay healthy! Enjoy the holidays. Keep the holiday gatherings well ventilated. Open windows, utilize fans, keep hand sanitizer available. Encourage anyone sick to wear a mask (or go home! LOL) Take your vitamins to keep your immune system up. Get lots of rest and avoid excess alcohol! Most of all have a wonderful and joyous holiday with your friends and family! Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a fabulous New Year!
