This is me. Pediatrician, mother of 2 awesome boys, outdoor enthusiast. I spent hours trying to choose just the right photo to portray me, but I think the one above does the job. Being a pediatrician does not define me, but it is a big part of who I am. As I grow older and wiser I am realizing that life is short. Life has sped by so quickly, and my children are now grown men. So as I continue in my career as a pediatrician, I chose to start this blog to help others.

I have been practicing holistic medicine for over 20 years. I am by no means a traditional doctor. I have always thought outside the box. However, in medicine that is never seen as a good thing. Do not get me wrong. I embrace all aspects of medicine, but I know the secret to good health and well being does not reside in a pill. Incorporating all aspects of medicine from traditional to the absurd makes me who I am.

Anyone who who knows me knows that I embrace life. I need to move, I cannot be still and that makes me who I am. I am at my happiest when I am outdoors just being. I will do anything once -well not sky diving- but just about anything else. I love to hike, bike, paddleboard, yoga, HIIT, ski. You name it, I will try it! So in my 50’s in the midst of a pandemic I choose life!

So as I begin this journey, in the midst of a pandemic I hope you will find this information useful. I will use this site as my primary source of information for Tendercare Pediatrics as opposed to Facebook! So please be patient with me as I make this transition.
